The Roeder cream butyrometer is used to determine the fat content of the cream with using the Gerber acid-butyrometry method.
These butyrometers are manufactured in borosilicate glass in accordance with the reference standard specifications. There are two different ranges of these: NF certified or ordinary.
The result is obtained by direct reading of the amount of fat in grams.
