      Kumagawa extractor


Very similar to the Soxhlet extractor (refer to the laboratory tab), the Kumagawa extractor has the advantage of being able to be used at much higher temperatures and of being less bulky owing to the cartridge incorporated into the flask holder. It is often used for hydrocarbon mixtures in the petrochemical industry.

Description of the instrument:
- a variable capacity flask with standardised ground stopper
- a cartridge- holder incorporated into the flask holder
- a Vigreux condenser
